Anthony Lim heads Chartwell Asset Management Sdn Bhd. He has over 20 years of experience in the Banking and Property industry. He held various senior positions in a number of major banks ranging from Phileo Allied Bank, Maybank Berhad and more recently HSBC where he was responsible for implementing and managing various softwares (ie. Mortgage Loan Systems, Credit Card Technology, etc). Being part of a pioneer generation in information systems in banking, Anthony led his team in implementing Union Bank of Philippines new credit card system and also assisted in the execution of Ambank’s new credit card system.
In 2006, Anthony left the Banking industry to join Chartwell Asset Management’s Accounting Department where he oversaw the accounting systems. Subsequently, he progressed into a Building Manager’s role where he got first-hand experience in managing various types of property over the span of 3 years. In 2009, he was promoted to Area Manager and subsequently to General Manager where he was responsible for business development, portfolio management and also overseeing the entire process of site acquisition through to passive management. With a wealth of knowledge in property accounting and hands-on expertise in property management, Anthony has successfully expanded Chartwell Asset Management’s coverage over the years, together with the implementation of improved processes and cutting edge technology within the company.
He is a graduate of the University of Technology, Curtin, Australia with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Information Systems).
